It's Another Beautiful Day In Our Neighborhood

We have had beautiful weather for the past three weeks or so.  We had about two weeks of cold, rain and wind at the end of December and beginning of January.  We were thinking "What the heck?" Now we are wondering if winter is over here.

We love the palm trees here.
Scout is happy this morning.
Dad arrived home last night. Scout gave him the cold shoulder.  BOL!   I was excited though.

The folks are going to look at that motor home that Mama doesn't think has enough storage, but has the wall of windows.  Dad is interested in it and thinks he can make it work. He said we have to get it at a really price though.  It has low mileage, but the description says it doesn't have a generator.  We hope that is just a typo.  We know it had one at one time.  We need a generator so that we can have air conditioning while we are driving down the highway. It will get too hot for us in the back without the big air conditioning running.  It also needs new tires.
The wall of windows.  There are six total.
Mama said she would take the chairs away and our beds would replace the chairs.  She would probably keep one chair and place it in front of the table.  I think it would  be cool to have windows that I could easily look out.

Dad mentioned that he might make another offer on the motor home that Mama loves.  Mama said she is sure the man will reject it, but Dad said it doesn't hurt to try.

The folks ate out last night.  Mama is behind on her restaurant blog again, but she did update it this morning with the place they ate at last night, Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant.

  1. Joey,
We hope you get a new home with lots of windows because we love windows. Mom does not love that we love windows because she is always muttering something about "snot smears." We don't know what she's talking about most of the time, though, so it's o.k.

Our Mom and Dad didn't go out last night but they're going out tonight. They said it's "date night" and "crab leg night." We think some crab legs would be good but we will settle for turkey necks tomorrow!

Have fun with your Dad and tell Scout not to be too mean to him. :)
    Love,
    Truly, Maggie and Walker

  2. The interior looks beautiful! I hope you get the good price. Never hurts to offer.

Also, momma asked how long we had our first greyhound, Paloma. We only had her for 6 months. It was a sudden tragedy and we were broken-hearted, but she did a good work in our hearts and spirit, and we'll never forget her.

  3. I love the motorhome with the windows - it looks really light and airy inside.
Your dad is right, it doesn't hurt to make another offer, we had the second offer on our house accepted.
    Good luck.
