A Snowy Sunday Morning

Hi everyone, it's me Jack. Mama has been busy decorating the house for Christmas and helping Daddy and Grandpa split and stack wood so we can use our fireplace. She hasn't had much time to blog this weekend, so I thought I would help her out.

This morning, we woke up to snow. It's not a lot, maybe an inch. Scout and I were still able to do zoomies in our yard though. We ran so fast that we are a blur in many of the photos and sometimes we are not in the photos at all. LOL Mama hates her camera because it doesn't take good photos of us running.

Scout and I love fresh snowfall, but we grow tired of it quickly.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Jack and Scout are sad today because they will not be getting turkey. We will be headed out to my in-laws in a few hours. I'm sure I will find a way to make it up to the pups.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

One More Day To Turkey Day

Scout is thinking about Turkey Day. I haven't told her that I am not the cook this year, so turkey is probably not on her menu unless it's in her Purina One.

Scout is Pouting

Does this dog look sad or what? She is upset with me because I made her leave my office for a while this morning. Scout has become very spoiled and yes, it's my fault. She has a very high pitched whine. She whines because she wants to be petted and have her belly rubbed. She will even lie in the bedroom which is a room across from the office and whine for me to come in and give her a belly rub. I guess I must have done that a time or two or she wouldn't be doing it, right? I've had long talks with her about this whining nonsense, but she continues. This morning, Jack started doing it. That's it, it has to stop. My husband told me to tune it out. I can't. It's like fingernails on a chalk board. It really gets on my nerves. This morning, I gave her two warnings and then kicked her and Jack out of the office. I made them stay out for about 5 minutes. I opened the door and was rewarded with many kisses and headbutts. I'm not sure why Scout looks so sad now. She could be trying to make me feel bad or maybe she is plotting her revenge.

Slow Like a Monday Morning

Jack had a nice slow morning this morning in his jammies. His leg wound is almost completely healed .... thank goodness.

Scout's foot is still sore.

I purchased a wireless Internet card for my computer over the weekend. I spent over 12 hours trying to get it to work. It's still not working. I have to call for help today, which I dread. I hope they will find an easy fix to get it going. It's probably just a setting on my computer.

I started decorating for Christmas this weekend. It's half fall and half Christmas at our house now. LOL

Waiting .....

(photo of Jack and his Daddy on a recent camping trip)

Jack and Scout are waiting for their Daddy to come home. They know it will be today because I have opened up the blinds in the laundry room. I always close those when he is gone. I have a fear of people looking in my windows at night. It happened to me when I was a child and I have been scared ever since.

I will not mention my husband's name until he pulls into the driveway. Jack will do zoomies through the house and Scout will scream - happy screams that Daddy is home.

Home Again - Part 3

Well, we just realized that we didn't finish telling you about the rest of our trip home.  I don't know if we even remember the res...
