What does five months, five days mean? That is how long we were on the road in 2012 when we went home for what we thought we would be the entire winter, but turned out to be just six weeks. We have now hit the five months, five days mark on this trip! It really doesn't seem like we have been on the road for that long. How long will we will be on the road? We have no idea. We have learned that our life can change quickly. We have no plans of leaving this life anytime soon though.
Remember the log cabin that we found here? Well, we did a little research on it.
The cabin was built in 1856. It is one of the oldest buildings in Denver. It was moved here a few years ago. We were disappointed to hear that as we liked to imagine the original owners walking the same grounds as us. There are spring bulbs that are scattered around it and we wondered how long ago someone lived in it. The cabin is open to the visitors for tours about once a month in the summer according to the
article we found. We really enjoyed walking to the cabin each day and sniffing around.
