Greyhounds Rule Here!

There are now four greyhounds here! Miss Woe brought home a foster sister, Marie, last week. The first time I saw Marie, I really embarrassed Mama. It was before 7 a.m. (quiet hours here) and I let out a howl and couldn't wait to get to her. HUBBA HUBBA!

Marie is a white and brindle greyhound. She has a brindle patch over her eye just like me and her ears are like mine too. She has a brindle patch on her back and her butt. She is eight. (An older woman.) She just had her last litter of pups and she is ready to find a forever home.

I have seen her almost every day since she arrived. I no longer race to get to her or howl, but we always exchange pleasantries. She likes to kiss me. We share a love of squirrel watching. Scout is not as taken with her as I am. I think Scout is a little jealous of this cougar. BOL!

About This Blog

This blog was started after the adoption of our first greyhound, Jack. Jack was with us a little over a year when we adopted Scout. Jack and Scout had many adventures from camping to selling our house and moving to a hotel and then eventually to our new house. Jack died unexpectedly after that move and we adopted Joey six weeks later. About a year after Joey's adoption, we hit the road and traveled the country for 5.5 years. Scout died in 2015 while we were on the road. Joey died in 2018 a year after we left the road and purchased a condo in Galveston. We adopted Jaxson in 2019 and his life has been all about the beach in Galveston until recently when we started traveling part-time in a camper van. This blog tells our adventures from the viewpoint of our greyhound(s).

We call our blog Two Greyhound Town because when we had a house, our greyhounds were the only ones in that small town. We have moved many times since then but the name has remained the same.
