Today is my 5th Birthday!!!!
I'm going to watch TV.
Play with my toys.
Take a couple of naps.
Basically, it's like any other day.
Mama made me a special breakfast and promised me something special for dinner. Daddy has to go away on a work trip starting tomorrow, so we are having "family day" today. We will be together all day today. I love family days!

Happy New Year!
I was trying to post yesterday afternoon a picture of Jack celebrating New Year's Eve when my Internet card broke. A new one will arrive tomorrow. I am at a Panera's Bread using their wi-fi. Yep, I'm doing it. I think they are ready to kick me out though as the staff seems to be cleaning all around me. It is starting to get quite crowded, so I need to leave. I drove all over trying to find an open place. I didn't think about everything being closed today. I wanted to drop my Entrecards, but I don't think that's going to happen today.
Happy New Year everyone!!!!

Thank you!
We would like to thank all of our followers of this blog. It's always exciting to see that someone else has signed up to follow our antics. We would also like to thank everyone for leaving comments. We really enjoy reading what you have to say.
We are still learning all about the blogging world, but we love it. We spent a while today trying to figure out how to list all of our blogs in our profile, but we are lost. Can you list non-blogger blogs? I'm sure I have seen other people do it. We would also like to show a widget with the link to our other blogs, but again, we haven't figured that out. We can do a widget and we can do a link, but we can't figure out how to combine them. :::sigh:::
On a side note, do you know how much gas is selling for at a station in St. Louis? $1.11. Can you believe that? It's true.

Muddy Dog Blues
The bad storms didn't hit us, but boy, it rained. Our yard is a muddy mess. Scout decided to run in the yard last night even though Mama told her not to do it. She came in covered in mud. Daddy tried to clean her up, but Mama said "put her in the tub!" Greyhounds are like cats. We really do not need to be bathed much. We are pretty much self cleaning. We do not have the doggy smell that other breeds have. Mama uses doggy wipes on us most of the time. So, hearing "putting her in the tub" was a shock to us.
I doubt that Scout learned her lesson and I bet she will be running in the mud later today. Daddy says she needs to wear mudflaps.
Sorry, we do not have pictures of Scout and her mud to share. Mama was too upset with Scout to take photos. Scout came into the mud room and really made it a mud room. She shook and mud went all over the walls and the washer and dryer. LOL
