I have a silly sister!

This is my silly sister, Scout.

Let me tell you how silly my sister is. The girl forgets to eat and then totally freaks out when her tummy starts making noises. Mama has to get food in her stomach right away because Scout's tummy sounds like it is going to explode. It really scared me yesterday. I was getting ready to take cover because I thought she was going to blow up. You should have heard the noises her stomach was making!

Mama's best friend asked Mama if Scout's hair was really blond. Mama's best friend has blond hair, so I guess it is okay for her to say that. Anyway, as far as I know Scout is a true brindle and not a blond, but she is not the brightest hound that is for sure. I told Mama the next time she wants to add a dog to our pack, she needs to meet them in person first and not just go off of a picture on the Internet. You can't judge a pup by their picture. Actually, I thought Scout looked pretty goofy on her Internet picture, but Mama thought she was cute. Blah!

Reflecting on a Sunday

I spent the day reflecting and thinking about life.

Scout, however, chose to spend her day like this.

I can't believe we are even related.

We received an award!

Camie's Kitties honored us with this award recently.

"This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

We will post the names of the bloggers that we are passing this on to shortly. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.

Thank you, Tara, for thinking of us!

I have a craving!

Have you ever had a craving for something but you couldn't satisfy it because what you want is no longer made or carried by a store near you? Well, I have been having this problem and it's my husband's fault. A few weeks ago, we were talking about foods we used to eat all the time. He mentioned Zero candy bars. I love those! My husband and I ate them all the time when we were dating. The filling is a combination of caramel, peanut and almond nougat. They are covered in a white fudge. I think the white fudge is what makes them really unique. The problem is I cannot find them anywhere around here. I have looked and looked. It has been driving me crazy. Well, the problem has been solved. I found them a few minutes ago on the Internet. I am so excited!

I found them here at bulk candy. This site will really make you hungry and will probably bring back a lot of memories. It actually made my heart beat fast. Do I have a problem? LOL

There is so much to choose from. If you like candy bars, they have it. If you like chocolate, it's there. If you like rock candy, it's just a click away. Rock Candy What about hard candy? Sure, they have it! Hard Candy

I'm such a big kid at heart. I still love eating the things that I did as a child and a teen. I'm not sure if I will ever grow up. What about you? Is there a favorite candy that you had as a child? Are you still able to find it? If not, check out this site and maybe you will be lucky like me and find something that you have been craving.

Oh and by the way, I'm telling my husband to order me some Zero bars for my birthday. LOL

Monday, Monday

Sorry I haven't been around for a few days. Mama has been busy with work and I haven't been able to get on the computer. She said we have been nominated for a few awards and we need to pick those up and post them. Mama hasn't been feeling the best lately, but thinks she is on the mend. I hope so. She is not much fun when she is not feeling well. Shhhh... don't tell her, but she gets a little cranky when she isn't feeling well.

Mama took Scout to a meet and greet yesterday. She left me behind with Daddy. She tricked me. I was in the house with her getting a treat and Daddy put Scout in the car. I saw Scout hanging out the car window. I think she was sticking her tongue out at me. Mama did bring me home a treat, but I would have rather have gone to town.

TGIF!

Scout is still using MY couch. Just look at her! She thinks she is something now.

Mama walked into the living room a few minutes ago and saw two feet sticking up in the air. Yep, it is Scout again on the couch and not me.

At least I have the big bed to myself while she is snoozing on the couch. :::sigh:::
