Mom was concerned that I might not like the elevator, but I have become a pro at it. It's not a big deal. I have learned though that if I stick my nose out too far, the doors will not close.
The first night we were here, Mom couldn't get our TV to work. It was kind of ironic because she spent two hours on Friday helping our neighbor at the RV park to get hers to work. Mom called our agent who called the repairman. We needed a new TV and our cable needed to be activated. The owners haven't been here in a while, so it was deactivated. It is all good now. Oh, there is not a TV in the bedroom and Mom really misses that. The folks fall asleep to the TV. Basic cable is included, but Dad likes HBO and Showtime. They bought an Amazon Fire Stick yesterday and that seems to have solved their problem. They will cancel Dish and save about $60 a month.
The last two mornings, we have taken long walks on the beach. I love how the sand feels on my paws. Today, I let the water touch my feet. I am loving it! After our walk yesterday, a big storm blew through. Mom and I tried to get one walk in before it arrived. We had a terrible time getting our door to open because the wind was blowing so hard. It was crazy! We heard there were 50 mph gusts. A few awnings were lost at the RV park. We had to go back there to do a final cleaning on our RV and that is how we know.
We took a ton of photos, so we are just going to post them now. Enjoy!
These are from Sunday morning:
Our building. We are on the 4th floor. |
These are from today. Apparently, watching the sunrise is exciting for the folks.
I was amazed at the grass on the beach. |
Then, Mom took pictures of me on the balcony:
We were surprised this boat was so close to the shore. |
