(Scout dreaming of warmer weather)It's 6 degrees this a.m. with a windchill of -10 to -15 below. There will be no walks today. Mama opens the door to the backyard and tells us to hurry. We can do our business pretty fast when we want to.
The mail lady did come yesterday after all. We were shocked. We wonder if she will make it today. Mama ordered a new pattern for coats for us and it should be arriving any day. The pattern shows a greyhound on it, so we hope it will fit us better than the ones she has been making us.
The UPS man did not come. His comments on the tracking website said an emergency prevented him from coming. Later, it was updated to say it was due to the weather and it will be delivered as soon as possible. It's an order from Alice. Mama loves to order from them. It prevents her from running to town so often because they carry a nice variety of household items. Alice also carries some pet products, so we like that. If you are interested, it's Alice and again, we are not receiving anything for mentioning the company. The company offers coupons on some items and those can be really good. She received a regular size of Snuggle fabric softener for just $.38 once. She said to check out "The Best Deals" section. She has noticed the prices going up slightly and the shipping is not as quick as it was even a few weeks ago. She used to get her order the next day and now it is take 3 days or more.
Hope you all have a nice and warm Friday. We are going to spend the day snuggled up in blankets.

I'm staying under the blankets today, maybe even in my jammies! Lilac and Blueberry are wearing theirs and seem pretty cozy!

Yep, it is cold here too....Scooter and Renner are bummed....no running today. To make matters even worse, no *extra* treats as Mom didn't leave the house today.
ReplyDeleteU.P.S. just had a huge layoff in their company this week, so the real emergency is probably that they are short staffed.
