Happy New Year!
Apparently, it is a tradition here for a group called the Dipsticks to take a plunge in the pool on January 1st. Mom's only participation was watching and taking photos.
As you can see, it is an overcast day. The temperature was about 50 and the water temperature was 56.
Mom attended a New Year's Eve party. It ended at 9 p.m. BOL! Actually, we were happy to have her home early because we heard a lot of fireworks while she was gone. We are not really scared of them, but we prefer Mom to be home at night.
Today, we are going to nap while Mom watches a marathon of Shameless. That is not a show that young pups should have to watch or hear. She says it is her guilty pleasure.

The Greyhound Who Is On Restrictions Due To A Foot Injury
I thought all New Year's Eve parties ended at 9pm. BBRRRR! I'm glad the tradition around here is to stay indoors and eat hot black-eyed peas! HNY!
ReplyDeleteThe Dipsticks are lucky. Here on our beach we have a Boxing Day dip in the sea for charity and it is usually sub zero temperatures, haha.
ReplyDeleteWe have never heard of a New Year party ending at 9.30 before :)
Hope you had a very Happy New Year and 2015 brings good things for you all.
