Booms Every Night

Mom has been taking more photos of the fireworks.  Scout and I stay inside.  We are not scared, but why chance it?  I have been outside before when fireworks happened and it didn't bother me.  You know what does bother me?  Kids riding around on those darn battery charged scooters.  They zoom past us and they are rude.  They definitely do not know the rules of the road.  It makes me nervous.

Here are the photos of the fireworks for this past week:

Tonight is the last night here.  I am sure Mom will take more photos.  She likes the different effects that she is getting.

Yesterday was a long day.  The electric here went out at 1:45 p.m. and didn't come back on until after 8 p.m.  They were able to restore power to our section, but another section is still without it.  We were told they would fix the other section today and we will loose power for a short time.  We are still waiting for that to happen.  Luckily, it was not a hot day and we were able to sit outside since it was hot in the motor home.  We could have turned on the generator but chose not to do that since it wasn't hot.  Dad did turn it on when it got home because he said the batteries were running low and the fridge runs on the batteries when the electric is off.

Tomorrow, we start making our way to the Denver area.
