What a great site. I love greyhounds! I don't have one yet but I've been to visit adopted greyhounds and just love them. All of my pets are adopted and I can't wait to get a greyhound when the time is right. I heard "brooding" females (I think I'm saying it incorrectly) are very calm and make excellent pets. In the past we tend to adopt the dogs and cats from the shelters that have a tough time getting adopted, so it's always happening in this house:-)
Greyhounds make excellent pets. I cannot say enough good things about them. I am thinking that our next greyhound may be a "Brood Mama". They are normally older females that are harder to place because, well, they are older. They have had a career as a racer, then a mother and I think they deserve to have a final career as a pet.
