What is he looking at?
A Mama and her babies!
I had been leaving corn out for them, but it was all gone this morning. I wish there would have been something for them to eat. It's not like I could open the door and say "Hang on Mama Deer, I'm bringing out some food for you and your babies." Hopefully they will stop by on their way home later today.
Poor Mama & Babies! I hope they stop by to get more food!

ReplyDeleteWe don't have animals like that around here. The only wild animals we have are possums.

I tried to leave a comment on your other blog, but it wouldn't let me (I think), so here it is...
ReplyDeleteMy first grey was afraid of (what we thought were) the strangest things. He was afraid of the wind as it blew thru the trees, folded up newspapers, some car tires and some trash cans, wheels on bicycles, and roller skates/blades. Other things never bothered him, that we thought might. Camie is only really still afraid of bicycle wheels and roller skates/blades, but then she used to be afraid of people, and has long since gotten over that. We don't have stairs, so have never run into that problem, but we did keep decals on our sliding glass door at doggy height to remind them that there was something solid there. I actually think Camie was easier to get used to a house, but I don't know if that was because she had Hunter to help her for a couple of months, or if it was because she was so grateful to not be in the racing environment. Good luck on working with the stairs for Scout.

Tara,
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why you couldn't leave a comment on Greys & Things. Thanks for leaving it here though. :-)
