Christmas Cards

We participated this year in the Greytalk Christmas card exchange.  We had a lot of fun sending out our cards and now we are enjoying receiving some in the mail.  Each day, we go to the mailbox and see what we have received.  We sniff each card.  We really need to find a nice way to display them so that we can see each one.

A card arrived yesterday that we both went nuts over.

We sniffed it and sniffed it and licked it.  Mama said we were going to ruin it because we were getting it all wet.  It's from a very special person who helped us find our way from Halfway Home to Greyhound Companions of Missouri.  We sent her a card but never expected to receive one back.  She is extremely busy.  We know that she has been very concerned about Joey and his leg.  Mama said we should send her a card and show her how happy we both are and thankful that she helped us find our forever home.  Her card made our day, as you can see.  We hope we have not embarrassed her by showing it on our blog.  Mama thought our reaction was too cute not to share.

  1. Wow that's a lot of cards for the kids to sniff. But they could tell that last one was special.

  2. Those are wonderful cards, did you recognise the smell from your halfway house Joey?
Mum took a look at the dogs there and immediately fell head over heels in love with Cul, a white greyhound cross. Hope they all find the best homes soon!

  3. I think someone must have put some sniffing treat in that card! It's nice to have friends like that.

  6. That card is beautiful! At least you didn't get one with an invisible rabbit in it like Nibs and Ambam did!
