It's Been A Rough Week

We've had a rough week here.  Daddy is out of town and we really miss him.  It rained for two days.  Today, it's very windy.  This morning we heard gun shots.  That is not common for here.  Mama said maybe someone is shooting the bunnies.  I hope not!  She was nervous with the gun shots, so we had to come in from the backyard.  We think someone is target shooting.  Then, the worst thing is that silly hat that she bought me.  Do you know what she said?  She said "You know, this looks like it would be pretty easy to make.  I think I will see if I can make one."  Yikes!  I have seen the coats she has made and they are not good.  The hat is embarrassing enough without it being made by Mama.  She wants to sew, but she is not very good at it.  This really could be a very long winter.

    LOL! Poor Joey and Scout! The gunshots are nerve wrecking. I think Zephyr feels the same about a sweater I'm knitting him as Joey does about the hats and coats. He's had to try it on so many times and it's not even finished.

    It's raining here too, and I just steam-cleaned the carpet. Don't they know that greyhounds are not gun dogs? But you do look so cute in your hat.

    Oh, Joey. I am feeling sorry for you today. Sometimes the things made by the "hands of love" can be quite horrifying. Hopefully your mom will do a good job. If not...sorry, Joey.

    Oh Joey! I'm so sorry! Sometimes it's so hard to convince your humans that they're not good at things. Perhaps you should suggest she sew herself one to match!

    Parents can be a nightmare can't they mate? Still, at least even my Mum isn't deluded enough to think she can sew. Her attempts would make your hat look like Chanel. Hehe! Deccy x
