Independence Day!
We had some new people move in last night. They look out of place here. They are real campers. They put a tent up and tents are now allowed. The park manager spoke with them about it, but we are not sure if they were told to take it down. They have two barking dogs and two kids. They are probably just here for a few days. This is really not a good place for kids. There is nothing for them to do but fish.
Mama says she doesn't want to be invited to the party house. LOL They sound like they are in their 20's. It is definitely not her scene. We expect the party to be quite loud today and tonight. We just find it interesting that they can play their music so loud 24 hours a day.
Mama made Chicken Pitas last night. She was not impressed with them. The pitas had chicken, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and Feta cheese.
The folks are going to sit outside tonight and watch the fireworks. Scout and I will stay inside where it is safe for us.
Stay safe everyone and have a great day and night!

Home Again - Part 3
Well, we just realized that we didn't finish telling you about the rest of our trip home. I don't know if we even remember the res...
Have a lovely time and we wish you all a very happy 4th July.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Have a happy 4th! You're new neighbor sounds just like my next door neighbor. 2 barking dogs, two kids, but no tent.
ReplyDeleteHappy Independence Day.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Happy Independence Day to you.
ReplyDeleteWe are suprised they let them play the music so loud and bother other campers. Hmmm, some more 'interesting' neighbours, you certainly do have some characters there don't you.

I'm planning on a late night. Casper and Freedom both hate fireworks. Freedom suffers in silence in the bathroom. Casper paces, whines, barks, gets up, lays down...poor boy. I should take a little nap today. Happy Independence Day.
ReplyDeleteThank doG, there will be no fireworks here tonight. No rain for over a month has brought about a ban on all fireworks. Not to be a party pooper, but my dogs are scared of them!
ReplyDeleteWe had a pretty relaxing day here at our house for the Fourth! Mom and Dad went out at night and we spent the evening resting and watching TV!
