Loose Pig!

I bet that got your attention, didn't it?  LOL   Yes, there is a loose pig in the park, but we will tell you more about later.

This morning, Mama asked me what I wanted to write about. I told her I didn't know because not much is going on right now. People really don't want to hear about you doing laundry or Dad breaking the car window.  Hmmm....maybe the car window is blog worthy.  Basically, Dad went out for lunch which is extremely rare and when he rolled down the window, it fell.  He now has it held up with magnets and has most of the door taken apart.  The door didn't want to open when Mama needed to open it to do laundry. She was not a happy camper.  She hopes the window really gets fixed and it is not something that she has to learn to live with.  A person really needs a driver side window that works.  How are you supposed to go through a drive-thru ?  It is already a pain because we have to use a card to get into the park and it's hard when you can't roll down your window.  Mama said she is not going to worry about it.

Mama suggested we take the camera on our walk this morning and maybe we would find something to blog about.  We didn't even get out the door before we found excitement.
Mom, something is out there!

See it?

It's a black squirrel!

I have never seen a black squirrel before!

Very interesting!
The squirrel finally left and we headed out on our walk.  We walked slowly as this is our third walk of the day and it's only 9 a.m.  It's a beautiful day here, so we are enjoying it.  We turned the corner and what do we see?
It's a pig!

It's a pig wearing a harness!

It's a pig wearing a harness next to a rock that is painted pink to look like a pig!
Mama was right. You just never know what you will see on a walk.

  1. Oh my Dog - we don't know what we are most amazed about, a black squirrel or a little pig wearing a harness.
Hope there are no rampaging dogs at the camp ground or someone will need to save his bacon!
Hope you get your window fixed soon.

  3. That is a heck of a walk. A "Black Swan" is defined as "an occurrence that deviates beyond what is normally expected of a situation and that would be extremely difficult to predict". I think that could apply to black squirrels and loose pigs too! :-)

  4. That window sounds tricksy! I hope it gets fixed because magic food windows are very important to have access to.

A pig?! BOL! That must be a very interesting place! Are you sure that's not the little pig that went to market?

  5. This is like a post from another world, not Ohio. A loose pig so close to a pig painted rock. That is too crazy!
