...But I Like The Rain
Yesterday, we had a rainy day. I don't mind the rain. I wanted to stay out all day. Mama didn't agree.
Mama: "Joey, it's 34 degrees. You can't stand in the rain."
Me: "But Mama, the bunny is out in the rain!"
Me: "Besides, when I come in, you wrap me in a warm towel."
Me: "I'm dry now. Can I go back out? Please?"

Joey, you are a funny boy. But, it the bunny is out in the rain I can see why you'd want to be there too.
ReplyDeleteYou are one rough, tough Greyhound. Wanda hates the rain and being wet and is not happy until she dries off completely after getting wet on her walks. You just may have that zipper your Mama talked about and there is some other kind of dog hiding from us. You sure are a cutie and so is Scout.

I don't like to get wet but I do like to be rubbed with a towel. And if there was a bunny to watch, I'd put up with the rain too.
